Doom Duel Tournament Recap

During Halloween week, our community put on a chilling tournament with rules that would scare even the bravest of autobots. Thankfully, our community members were up for the challenge! Here’s an overview of how our first Halloween-themed tournament went:

Tournament Recap

Deck Building Rules:

Our tournaments are a great way for players to mix up their regular decks and this one was no different! Every card was fair game as players started a round, but the stakes were higher here if you lost.

In this tournament, all the cards in the defeated player’s deck would be unavailable to them in the next match. It was a strategy of not putting all your best cards in one deck in case disaster happened!

Bracket Set up:

Matches between players were set up based on their Victory Points. In our tournaments, we have a double elimination rule which means that anyone can come back to win it all. In this tournament, one of the players lost their first match but was able to win their way back to a place in our championship match!

Doom Duel Champion:

Myownchef took home the championship for this tournament in a impressive winning streak all while only needing to switch up his deck once! We were impressed with all our tournament players and the strategies they made to stay ahead in the competition with our unique deck-building rules.

Tournament Prize:

The winning prize from our tournament was a crate sent from our team of 500 Shanix!

How to Get involved

We’re excited to see our community engage with one another and participate in matches with new players. With our Android launch approaching, it’ll be great to see all old and new fans of our game play against one another as they fight for the top spot!

Where to Sign up:

Tournaments are held in our official Discord and only available to those members, so join us there if you haven’t to get immediate updates on the next one that will happen.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to us for what you most want to see for our next tournament. We want to hear from our community for any deck-building rules you think would be fun to try.
