We wanted to create a fast, agile, and terrifying unit that players could command with precision, and Nightbird fit the role perfectly. As a human-made robot, her lore inspired a unique mechanic: the ability to task her with high-priority objectives, making her both deadly and tactical.

On November 5, 2021, we released the game to fans of both TRANSFORMERS and real-time strategy, and it has been a remarkable journey, thanks to all of you. Festival of Lost Light: Honoring Cybertron's Legacy in TRANSFORMERS: Tactical Arena

Greetings, Commanders! As we gear up for the spookiest season of the year, we're excited to introduce something truly special for the top players in TRANSFORMERS: Tactical Arena—the Festival of Lost Light Arena. Inspired by The Transformers: More than Meets the Eye comic, issue #31, this event draws from a solemn and mystical Cybertronian tradition that remembers the fallen. Only available to our most skilled tacticians in the Prime League, this arena promises spine-chilling showdowns and epic battles steeped in Cybertronian history.

When we began working on Elita One, we knew she’d play a crucial role, both in gameplay and representation. We wanted to introduce a strong ranged healer, and Elita One’s leadership and tactical abilities made her the ideal choice. Plus, as part of our ongoing effort to bring more female Transformers into the game, adding her to the roster was a natural fit.

As we approach the final quarter of 2024, we're thrilled to unveil some exciting updates and features coming to TRANSFORMERS: Tactical Arena!
