More Value With Swindle

Swindle’s economy has received exciting updates! Now, when you select a card from Swindle, it’s guaranteed to appear in five Victory Crates, with no time limits on earning them.

With the addition of Wild Cards, Swindle’s value had diminished, making a rework necessary. This update ensures a more predictable return on Shanix spent by guaranteeing a set number of crates.

New Card: Rattrap (Common)

We’re thrilled to have rattrap join our squad! Rattrap is best used for crowd control, and does best when paired with another unit for defense so he can focus on clearing out enemy hoards.

MAXIMIZE! Rattrap is a cheap and squishy way to handle (ground) crowd control.

New Card: Temporal Field Disruptor (Common)

The Temporal Field Disruptor will slow down enemy units that enter its radius. It starts at a 0.5x speed modifier at Level 1, and will ramp to a 0.3x speed modifier at Level 9.

Card Balance Adjustments

We’ve made several updates to our cards to help balance your gameplay:

  • Blaster: Blaster's "Boost" has been reworked to start at a 1.25x at Level 3, and ramp up to 1.5x by Level 9 (where previously his ramp went from 1.2x to 1.3x), Damage -8%.

As a support unit, we wanted Blaster's role to feel undeniably valuable. This rework makes his "Boost" ability more impactful, while adjusting his DPS to better align with other support characters like Elita One and Ratchet.

  • Windblade: Damage +15% and Windblade (Alt): Damage +11%

Though versatile, Windblade has struggled with lower win rates. These adjustments bring her damage in line with other 2-3 cost units like Brawn and Sentinel Guard Drone, making her a stronger contender against both air and ground opponents.

  • Sharkticon Portal: Energon Cost has been increased to 7 from 6.

Following the 2.2 buff to Sharkticons, the Sharkticon Portal became too easy to spam at 6-cost, especially when paired with 5-cost Sharkticons. Raising the cost helps balance its power. No further changes were needed, and with the addition of Rattrap, there are now even more ways to counter this card effectively.

  • Spinister: Damage +36%, Health +8%

As key air support units, Spinister and Rotorstorm each play distinct roles. While Rotorstorm has a shorter range and deals splash damage, Spinister focuses on single-target attacks with higher DPS and longer range. However, his previous stats were too low to offer a viable alternative to Rotorstorm. These buffs should help make Spinister a more effective option.
