Robot Rumble Recap
After the success of our first TRANSFORMERS: Tactical Arena Community Tournament, we couldn’t wait to host another one! Our tournaments offer players a new way to meet others who also love the game and practice their skills. Robot Rumble, a tournament that only allowed TRANSFORMER cards, was held in our Official Discord from September 9 to September 11. Here’s an overview of how it went:
Tournament Recap
Deck Building Rules:
To encourage players to mix up their usual decks, this tournament only allowed TRANSFORMER units. That meant no spell, minion, portal, or structure cards. It was great to see players adapt their strategy and give advice to others in the tournament.
Bracket Set up:
Matches were announced in our Discord and determined by each player’s Victory Points so our community could have fair and exciting games where anyone could come out on top.
Robot Rumble Champion:
In an amazing winning streak, JustDuelAndLose was our Robot Rumble champion! All our tournament participants had great sportsmanship and were flexible with each other’s schedules. They all showed off the traits that help foster a supportive community.
Tournament Prize:
In an incredibly kind gesture, JustDuelAndLose asked to spread the top prize to the second and third place winners as well. It’s this type of interaction we hope to get from these tournament events. JustDuelAndLose, Stockcrasher, and LuisMaysonet.eth each earned 500 Shanix for their well-fought matches.
How to Get involved
The positive reception we got from the community confirmed that we’ll continue to host tournaments. We can’t wait to see players make new friends and show off their favorite strategies.
Where to Sign up:
Our tournaments are held in Discord and only available to those members, so the best way to receive updates for our next one is to join us there. We’ll make an announcement in our Tournaments channel when it’ll start and the rules for making your deck.
In the meantime, we would love to hear from our community and what you want to see from our next tournament. We’re open to new ideas so feel free to send us suggestions on anything from tournament set up to deck-building rules.
Keep an eye on our Discord for more tournaments and events!
